Allegheny Refrigeration was selected to design and install a walk-in freezer at Janoski's Farm and Greenhouse to support the operational needs of their on-site bakery. With a high volume of baked goods requiring consistent and reliable cold storage, the system was designed to deliver durability, efficiency, and long-term performance in a demanding food production environment.
The project included the full installation of an insulated walk-in freezer box, complete with heavy-duty floor panel reinforcement to accommodate frequent foot traffic, racks, and product loads typical of bakery operations. To further enhance durability and ease of use, the box was equipped with heavy-duty Tuffy brand doors, providing reliable sealing and long-lasting performance under constant use.
Given the installation environment, a membrane roof system was incorporated to provide added protection against moisture and external elements, ensuring the integrity and longevity of the structure. Allegheny Refrigeration also handled the installation of a high-efficiency refrigeration system along with all required electrical components, delivering a complete turnkey solution.
All work was performed by the Allegheny Refrigeration installation team in a quick and efficient manner, minimizing disruption to daily operations and allowing the bakery to rapidly expand its cold storage capabilities. The finished system provides consistent temperature control, improved workflow, and the reliability needed to support ongoing production demands.
This project demonstrates Allegheny Refrigeration’s ability to execute high-quality, customized cold storage solutions tailored to the unique needs of agricultural and food production facilities.
