Allegheny Refrigeration completed a two-day installation at the Verland Foundation, beginning with the demolition and removal of the existing walk-in unit. In its place, our team installed a TAFCO-manufactured combination cooler/freezer walk-in, designed to meet the foundation’s unique needs. The project also featured a Tuffy Door package for added durability, 3/4" plywood underlay reinforcement for structural stability, and 48" vapor-proof LED light fixtures to provide reliable, efficient illumination. This custom installation ensures dependable cold storage while supporting the Verland Foundation’s mission of creating safe and stable environments for individuals with complex physical and intellectual challenges.
